1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use AI Privacy & Secure VPN (the “App”), visit aiprivacy-vpn.com, or contact our support team. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the App’s developer identified on its App Store listing. Our privacy contact is support@aiprivacy-vpn.com. This policy covers our own services; websites you visit and services you choose to use have their own privacy practices.

We aim to limit information handling to what is necessary to provide the functionality you request. Permissions are not an invitation to use your content for unrelated purposes. Please read the disclosures presented in the App, including any notice shown before you activate a VPN connection or make a purchase, alongside this policy.

2. Our privacy commitment

We do not sell or rent your personal information, trade your activity, or share your information with advertising networks or data brokers. We do not use your VPN traffic or private content for advertising, profiling or unrelated commercial purposes. Data handled by VPN functionality is used only as needed to provide the connection you request, and is not sold, used for unrelated purposes or disclosed to third parties.

The limited App Store purchase and refund process described below is distinct from VPN traffic. It does not authorize disclosure of browsing history, VPN traffic, passwords, authentication secrets or private media. Where applicable rules prohibit a disclosure, we do not make it. A general acceptance of this policy does not substitute for specific consent required by Apple or by law.

3. Information you choose to provide

When you email support, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to include. We use this information to answer your request, investigate the issue and maintain an appropriate record of our response. You can contact us without including private media, passwords, authentication codes or a complete purchase history.

If technical context is needed, you can provide your device model, iOS version, App version and a description of the problem. Please remove personal details from screenshots before sending them. We do not ask for your Apple Account password, payment-card number or two-factor authentication secrets.

4. VPN connections and network information

A VPN connection requires network information, such as an IP address, to route traffic between your device, the VPN endpoint and the destination you request. Processing information to establish and maintain a connection is different from selling information or creating advertising profiles. Connection speed and availability depend on your network and the selected endpoint.

We do not use the content of VPN traffic to build marketing profiles or disclose it to advertisers. The VPN does not prevent a website from receiving information you actively submit, recognizing an account you sign into, or using its own cookies. Review website privacy notices and use secure HTTPS connections where available. No statement in this policy should be interpreted as a promise that internet communication involves no processing of data.

5. Private browsing

The private browser provides a separate environment for browsing. Websites loaded in that browser still receive the requests necessary to display their pages and may process information under their own policies. Signing into a website, downloading a file or submitting a form can create records outside the App.

Private browsing is not a guarantee of anonymity. We do not sell your browsing activity or share it for advertising. Use the browser’s available session and clearing controls to manage its stored data. Files that you deliberately save outside a private session may remain on your device until you remove them.

6. Safe storage, passwords and authentication

Files you choose for safe storage, generated passwords and authentication information are used for the security features you request. We do not request this content for support, sell it, or authorize its use for advertising. Access permissions should be limited to the content necessary for the feature you choose.

You remain responsible for keeping account recovery methods and backup codes in a secure place. Device backups and synchronization controlled through your Apple settings may be subject to Apple’s own policies. Removing the App or changing a device can affect access to locally stored information, so review your recovery options before doing so.

7. Media access and cleaning tools

The media cleaner needs permission to access the photos or videos you want it to review. You can grant, limit or revoke photo-library access in iOS Settings. Where iOS offers selected-photo access, you may choose that option; functionality can be limited to the selected items. We do not sell your media or provide it to advertisers.

Review suggested items before confirming removal. Deletion may also affect devices connected through your own photo synchronization settings. Any recovery period is controlled by the relevant Apple feature and is not an additional backup service provided by us. Other utilities use only the permissions and device capabilities needed for their stated purpose.

8. Subscriptions and purchase information

Apple processes App Store payments under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your complete payment-card details. Purchase receipts, transaction identifiers, product identifiers and subscription status may be used to recognize an entitlement, restore an eligible purchase and resolve a billing-related support request.

This information is used for purchase administration, not to infer your browsing activity. Subscription management and refunds are handled through the applicable Apple interfaces. Information already held by Apple remains subject to Apple’s policies and any legal retention obligations that apply to Apple.

9. Limited information for Apple refund reviews

If you request a refund for an in-app purchase, we may respond to Apple with relevant information about the use of that purchase, only where permitted by Apple’s rules and applicable law and with any required prior consent. Depending on the information actually available and the fields Apple supports, this may include app usage time, a pseudonymous account identifier, the total amount spent and the total amount refunded.

An identifier without a name is not necessarily fully anonymous and may still qualify as personal data. We limit any response to the refund review and do not include VPN traffic, browsing history, private files, passwords or authentication codes. We do not create additional tracking solely because this clause exists. Apple determines the refund outcome. If consent is required and is not given, we do not send the optional consumption information; you may still request a refund from Apple.

10. Website and external services

This website does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, embedded social-media widgets or tracking cookies added by us. Opening a page still involves ordinary technical processing by your browser, internet provider and the hosting infrastructure that delivers the page. A link to an external service is governed by that service’s privacy notice once you follow it.

Email and Apple’s purchasing systems necessarily process communications or transactions you initiate. We do not use these interactions as permission for unrelated disclosure. The App’s developer does not sell personal information or provide VPN user data to third parties for their own purposes.

11. Purposes and legal grounds

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we handle information as necessary to provide a feature or respond to a request, comply with a legal obligation, or pursue a proportionate legitimate interest such as responding to a support issue. We rely on consent where it is required, including optional refund-related consumption reporting when applicable.

You may withdraw consent for future processing by using the available control or contacting support. Withdrawal does not change the lawfulness of processing already carried out. Permission to access photos or configure a VPN can be changed in iOS Settings; revoking it may prevent the related feature from working.

12. Retention, deletion and security

We retain support correspondence and purchase-related records only for as long as reasonably needed for their stated purpose, outstanding disputes or applicable legal obligations. We do not retain information indefinitely simply because it may become useful. The appropriate period depends on the type of request and whether an issue remains unresolved.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved, but no software, device or network is immune to every risk. You can remove locally stored content using available App or iOS controls. Contact support about information you have sent to us. We cannot delete records controlled independently by Apple or another service, and removing the App does not cancel a subscription.

13. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of personal information, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority. We do not require you to waive these rights to obtain support.

Send requests to support@aiprivacy-vpn.com with enough information to identify the relevant interaction. We may ask for proportionate verification to avoid disclosing information to the wrong person. We respond within the period required by applicable law. Some requests may be limited by legal requirements or by the fact that we do not hold the information concerned.

14. Children and international use

The App is not directed at children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and address the situation.

The internet and services you independently use may involve processing outside your country. Where we are responsible for a restricted international transfer, we use a legally recognized transfer mechanism or another valid legal basis. This section does not authorize a transfer of VPN data prohibited by Apple’s requirements.

15. Updates and contact

We may update this policy when features, legal requirements or information practices change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the App or another appropriate notice where required, and we will obtain new consent where necessary before changing a consent-based use.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@aiprivacy-vpn.com. You can also review our Terms of Use for subscription, refund and acceptable-use information. We encourage you to keep a copy of the policy that applies when you use the App.
